Bran Castle built by Brasov 's citizens in 1377, it eased the control over the road of great economical and strategic importance which linked Transilvania with The Wallache Country.

Stronghold first mentioned in 1335, had a defensive role of protection and refuge for the inhabitants around in case of danger.

Peles Castle was built in German Renaissance between 1875 and 1883 and was the summer house for the royal family . The castle hold numerous interesting rooms and valuable objects such as: statues, furniture, rugs, tapestries, weapons, stained glass.
