Saschiz Fortified Church - evangelic church ( 1493 - 1496 ) robust edifice from one piece, prolonged chorus room and polygonal apse.

Malincrav Fortified Church - documentary certificated at 1305, with Saint Mary as the patron of the church; it is built in Romanic style. In the interior there is a mural fresco from the 14 th centurz, considered as the most precious in the entire Transilvania.

Biertan Fortified Church - attested at 1283, it is the most imposing church from the Tarnave. It si surrounded by three defence walls.

Darlos Fortified Church - documentary mentioned at 1317, transformed in Gothic style in the 15 th century. Copsa Mica Fortified Church - evangelic fortified church, 15 th century.

Valea Viilor Fortified Church - attested in the second half of the 14 th century, built on an old Roman basilica.

Axente Sever Fortified Church - attested at the end of the 15 th century.

Slimnic Fortified Church - evangelic church (1400), in Gothic style, surrounded by the ruins of a Saxon fortress (15 th -16 th centuries).

Carta Fortified Church - considered the oldest building in Gothic style in Romania, it was founded bz the cistercian monks in 1202.
