   RESTAURANT CETATE
  
Cetate (The Fortress) was built more than three hundred years ago and is a peak of the Romanian and Brasov tourism today. Once a defending tower, the building hosted later on the Brasov jailhouse. It offers a splendid view of the town and its surroundings. you may still see a collection of weapons and cannons. The theme of the restaurant is Middle Age. Therefore we have a Medieval lounge and a Transylvanian lounge. They are both serving Romanian and international cuisine. in summer do not miss the chance to sit on the sunny terrace while enjoying our delicious cakes and a cup of coffee.

For those romantically given, there is the Medieval Saloon typically evocative of the period, completed by a recital including chamber music, dance and arias of classical and preclassical music

Reminding of the vaultsof the old medieval castes, the winecellar is a small jewelry of the "Cetate Restaurant" where one can taste the famous Romanian wines originating from the Mulfatlar, Jidvei, Dealuyl Mare, a.s.o. wineyards.
