   RESTAURANT "CASA PADURARULUI"
  


Recently renewed, Casa Padurarului is a rustique restaurant at the foot of Tampa Mountain. The quietness and the fresh air here make you think you are really deep in the woods. The menu is mainly serving game meet, but the cooks have also had the vegetarians; therefore you will be able to enjoy here several dishes with mushrooms and other vegetables ussually cooked by the foresters. If you come here notice the nice wood carvings and the hunting trophies that decorate the walls.
The Forester's House (the English translation of Casa Padurarului) will really make you feel like you are visiting an old guy living in the woods. The menu is mainly Romanian and hunting style.

The house special is: Venison medallion with forest fruits and rice.

The chef's reccomandation is: Venison Burgundy style.

Today's special: "Bulzul padurarului" - Forester's oven baked polenta with sheep cheese

Hunter's appetizer (which is a generous plate of venison roulade, pork pastrami, hunter's salami, smoked ham, different kinds of Romanian cheese and vegetables)
